“I went deeper… Nowadays people take images for granted, not questioning whether or not the photo is real or not, I wanted people to think more critically about the images they are perceiving.”
Last Sunday, I had a very cool Idea, I wanted to take a Painting from Tyler, and make a photo of it, But I wanted it to be as close as possible to the original Painting…
this is Tyler’s Piece
At first I released the Image in facebook without any kind or background or explanation, and it was very well received (although later deleted by Facebook for nudity)
But to make a better documentation of it I decided to go for a Timelapse.
Later on I decided to release the Making of Video, but meanwhile a lot of people asked me for the name of the girl, and I maintained myself very secretive about it.
here’s for you all to enjoy!
12 hours of editing
this time I made this!
and for inspiration, or rather anatomical material I used this picture, I followed the shadows a bit, but not too strict, I added a rim light at the lips and nose just a bit to get more separation, and ended up pretty well
hope you guys like it!

this time I wanted to continue on the theme of the last painting I did.
this one is called Catastrophe, because I realized that actually I got the idea from a manga called Gantz, its been a long time since I read it, but the images should have remained in my subconcious till todayRead More
From the years of studying 3D art I really learned a lot form many artists that had nothing to do with painting or photography, and then came to a realization that the core artistic value of these expressions are really the same.
This time I wanted to share an amazing tutorial by 3D artist Andrew Price from Blender Guru. don’t you worry about software technicalities here, this is elemental theory that will give you a strong color foundation.
After watching this I promise you, you’ll think of color wheel in a whole different level, and understand the triad of the color; Hue, Value and Saturation. Enjoy!
